Jimmy Brown must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .650 clip, then the Tacoma second baseman finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the COL Player of the Week Award.

He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too."
