Tommy Tatum went 5 for 5 against the Freeland Sojourners at Field of the Thunderwolves and the Thunderwolves picked up a 8-3 victory.
He exclaimed, "What a day! We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" The delighted center fielder was really enjoying the happiness of the moment in the press room.
"He was patient up there today," the San Bernardino skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Tatum has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes."
T. Tatum doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off S. Sundra in the 7th.
Tatum currently has a .277 batting average with 93 hits, 4 homers, 27 RBIs, 56 runs scored and a .361 OBP. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 8-12, .400 PCT | | Position in Division | 7th, 6.0 GB | | Record at home | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record on the road | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 0-1, .000 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 2-2, .500 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 4-2, .667 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 4-10, .286 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in April | 8-12, .400 PCT |
