Les Mueller put together a very solid month to take home the Southern League's top pitching honor in April.
The 22-year-old reliever threw with confidence some veteran's lack. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 35 strikeouts in 38.2 innings as he put together his 4-1 record and 1.16 ERA.

Just ask Sheldon Jones, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Lakehurst Swordsmen reliever, 19, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .240 average and walked away with the Continental League Pitcher of the Month award for April.
Jones posted a 1-2 mark and a 1.41 ERA in no relief appearances. In 32 innings, he stacked up no saves, 15 strikeouts and 11 walks.

The 27-year-old left fielder for the Decatur Fire hit .397 with 1 home run, 18 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
