But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Hialeah starter earned a 10-4 mark in 8 starts. He threw 74 innings, struck out 52 and compiled a solid 1.95 ERA. In the current season in 13 starts, Ike Pearson has a record of 19-4 with 89 strikeouts in 135.2 innings and a 1.99 ERA. |
