Triple-A Baseball News Article | |  | Saturday, June 1st, 1940: Maggert Grabs PCL Best Batter Award for May Even though he is a newcomer to Triple-A Baseball, Harl W Maggert put up some good numbers in May and brought home the PCL Batter of the Month trophy.
He was one of Glendale's offensive leaders with a .367 average in 26 games. He also racked up 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
This season Maggert is hitting .365 with 58 hits, 10 home runs, 37 RBIs, scored 35 runs and played in 42 games. | |
