Paul Erickson took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Month award for April.
The 25-year-old Pigeons starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 4 starts. He has fanned 36 batters in 36.1 innings and sports a 1.98 ERA.

Ed Linke's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-2 in April, the 29-year-old Hialeah hurler has been named International League Pitcher of the Month.
He fanned 21 in 61.2 innings, logged an ERA of 2.34 and allowed opponents to hit .232 against him.

Not known for his offensive prowess, Ray Lamanno set the league afire in April and took home the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month award.
The Findlay catcher posted a steady .352 batting average, 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs.
