Bill Walker of the New York (A) Yankees pitched his way into the exclusive 200-win club today at Yankee Stadium by stopping the St. Louis (A) Browns 17-3. In his historic outing, he surrendered 8 hits and 3 runs in 8 innings with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.

With a huge grin on his face, the 35-year-old Walker told reporters after the game, "Now I got to get real busy -- and start working on my next 200 wins."
