I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what New York (N) shortstop Bill Knickerbocker said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Brooklyn Dodgers at Polo Grounds. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Giants had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 7-6.
