The 36-year-old right fielder achieved that milestone with 3 hits in 5 at-bats to join the exclusive 2500-hit club.
His manager said, "Cool Papa plays the same every day and every inning - with all his heart - that's why he's such a special player."
For his 1983-game career Bell has hit .324 with 2501 hits, 961 RBIs and 99 home runs. | |
