Just ask Joe Medwick, the Philadelphia (A) center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the American League Player of the Week honors.
Medwick piled up 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs while hitting .556.
Thus far this season Medwick has hit .348 with 17 home runs, 98 RBIs and scored 74 times. | |
