He went 3-5 in today's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Brooklyn won the ball game 5-4. L. Gehrig singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off R. Adams in the 7th, walked in the 10th and hit a solo-shot off C. Perkins in the 12th.
Gehrig is batting .324 in 1939 with 20 home runs, 67 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 91 hits in 281 at-bats. | |
